Health is Everybody’s Business: Ways to promote wellbeing at work
As an employer or manager, it’s important to ensure you have a happy and healthy working environment. Everybody benefits from workplaces in which all staff feel valued and sickness absence is reduced.
To make this happen, staff need to feel that any mental or physical health conditions they have are understood by their employer. The best workplaces are those that respect their employees’ needs and recognise the mutual benefits of making reasonable adjustments to help them.
This free workshop is aimed at Bristol and South West based managers, small business owners and HR professionals who want to learn how to manage health conditions in the workplace more effectively.
We’ll help you understand the impact of long term health conditions, particularly invisible illnesses. You’ll share ideas on having supportive conversations, being more aware of other people’s mental health and how to promote wellbeing at work.
You’ll also get a toolkit of helpful resources to manage health-related workplace issues.
