Work on your wellbeing: Resilience and employability workshops
We live in challenging and uncertain times. Many people are worried about their working future; whether it be for mental and physical health reasons or changing economic circumstances, those seeking a return to work may perceive many barriers to re-employment. Meanwhile, people already in a job find their working environment is changing and less secure.
Our series of three FREE interactive online workshops will break down some of these barriers and help you find the resilience, confidence and practical skills to find and apply for work. If you’re already working, we’ll give you the tools to respond to change in your existing working environment.
In workshop one, you’ll learn how change affects us and how to turn your fear of change into a more positive outlook. You’ll receive advice and practical strategies to deal with stress.
In week two, there will be tips on how to apply for work, what to put in your CV and how best to sell yourself and your talents in a job interview. If you’re dealing with redundancy or a lack of job security, we’ll help you manage this too.
And thirdly, there will be advice and signposting about managing your money, how to navigate the benefits system, tips for maintaining your wellbeing during unemployment, and how to access mental health support.
Participants can attend all three sessions or pick the ones that best suit them.
